More about the ways we worship...
At St. Gregory's, we make the liturgy together, reclaiming the vitality of early Christianity and creating new forms. We meet around Jesus' open table in worship that engages our whole bodies, hearts, and minds.
Our liturgies are spiritual experiences: we encourage people to sing, dance, and eat together; to share silences and prayer; to hear Scripture, the teaching of preachers and the witness of congregants. Our worship is fully participatory, and we welcome all people –especially strangers—to communion. St. Gregory’s work is directed both to our members and to the Church around the world. Below, you’ll find resources for members of St. Gregory’s and those who want to enliven their own congregations. Watch videos, listen to audio and read articles explaining why we do what we do. You can also download the liturgies and prayers written for our regular and special services: use them, adapt them, get inspired! To learn more, look at the outlines of our Sunday services. |
