Thank you for considering having your wedding at St. Gregory’s. Before scheduling a wedding at Saint Gregory's, we ask all couples to come to one of our Sunday services (8:00 & 10:30). There you can meet our clergy and experience a typical liturgy. After you have visited a service, please contact the office to begin the planning process.
You do not need to be a member of the Episcopal Church to have a wedding here. We welcome the weddings of same-sex and opposite-sex couples alike. If clergy of St. Gregory’s are to officiate at your wedding, at least one of you must be a baptized Christian. Divorced people can re-marry in the Episcopal church, but you need to inform the priest if you’ve been married before. You will need to schedule at least three premarital counseling sessions with a member of our clergy before the wedding. St. Gregory’s has developed a beautiful service for weddings. You are most welcome to use the rites developed by the Episcopal Church. We’re happy to work with you on adapting the service to your own needs regarding size, prayers, vows, music, participation, and style. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the details of the service. Fees Non-parishioners

Facility Information
Our church building is beautiful! The church’s seating area is outfitted with 150 padded chairs. The church also has over 150 folding chairs for your use. Total capacity approaches 320 seats. The church is well suited to hold receptions after the wedding ceremony, using your caterer and food prepared off site. All weddings require a cleaning and damage deposit of $500 -- refundable after sufficient clean up of the church space and kitchen. Your wedding, in all cases, requires you to provide a wedding coordinator, who is responsible for liaison with the office and is the point person in charge of all logistical details for the wedding. The wedding coordinator can be a member of the church, a friend, or a hired consultant, and is responsible for arranging setup, decorating and cleanup, and for managing any reception.
Music
Once you’ve discussed your wedding liturgy with your clergyperson, please make arrangements for the music you’ve chosen (congregational music with Cantor, and/or solos, and/or choir singing) directly through our Music Director. You can talk with him about recruiting the participation of St. Gregory’s excellent choir. We do not have an organ or any other keyboard instruments, and we do not have microphones or sound systems; the church is designed for unaccompanied singing. If you plan to have live musicians for your reception at the church, please check with the office.
