Leesy Taggart has served as our treasurer since 2006, and has been a member of St Gregory’s almost since she first walked through the door in 1985.
As treasurer, Leesy oversees collection of revenues and payment of expenses, manages our invested funds, and coordinates stewardship and fundraising. She prepares our internal monthly financial reports and the annual financial report to the Diocese. She works with the church auditor to ensure that our procedures and controls are appropriate. She is passionate about the clarity and accuracy of our financial picture, and welcomes questions about how money works to support our ministries. Or suggestions on how things could work better.
You will also find Leesy lighting candles & thuribles, welcoming the Sunday zoom congregation, hosting East Bay Evensong, participating on pastoral care teams, and generally trying to weave people more fully into the life of the church.
