Working together transforms us

Paul Fromberg

A special thing about St Gregory’s is the way we work together to make church. We do this especially during Holy Week and Easter. I invite you to take a peek behind the scenes and join us in making beauty together this year.

As we prepare to journey with Jesus through Holy Week to Easter, I am reaching out to invite each of you to help make church happen. This is a special time for us to gather, not only as observers but also as active creators to freshen and beautify our building.

Holy Week offers a unique opportunity to embody our prayer through both service and creativity. Whether it is through the careful task of cleaning, the act of providing hospitality, or the artistic endeavor of decorating the church, each contribution enriches our worship and deepens our relationships.

Again and again, I have witnessed the impact of making beauty in the lives of our members. It’s an experience that builds us up as we share our stories. Every moment spent making church together shows the beauty of the bonds that join us heart to heart.

Looking forward to making beauty with you.

Come make beauty and church together this April at St Gregory’s. It’s a great way to get to know the community.

“Making beauty in the church is not simply functional; it isn’t simply about getting someone to arrange the altar flowers or create a visually appealing bulletin or sing a gorgeous solo; it is always about building relationships. Over the years, St. Gregory’s has found that creating beauty in the context of community encourages transformation in people’s lives. Whenever people gather to make things together, our lives are changed.”
