Worship At St. Gregory’s: A Sacred Collaboration
When you worship with us, you’re not an observer—you’re part of something bigger. Worship is something we create together.
At St. Gregory’s, worship is shaped by the unique gifts and voices of everyone present.
We welcome all people—ordained and lay, adults and youth—to participate and lead in our worship:
- Liturgical Leadership: Help guide the service, lead prayers, or serve communion.
- Scripture Reading: Readers of all ages can read during the 8:30 or 10:30 AM services—just let a vested leader know 30 minutes before the service.
- Other Roles: Sing, listen, or simply find peace in quiet contemplation.

Music at St. Gregory’s: Lift Every Voice
Music is at the heart of our worship. The entire congregation sings a cappella,
Together, we sing everything from centuries-old chants to modern compositions by our members.
What to Expect
- Congregational Singing: Everyone joins in, guided by the choir’s harmony.
- Choir Leadership: The choir opens with an anthem, reassembles for communion, and leads key moments throughout the service.
- Diverse Repertoire: Our music spans traditions and eras, celebrating the richness of sacred music.

Our choir director Sanford Dole welcomes everyone—no auditions required!
- Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:30–9:30 PM (every other Thursday in summer).
- Sunday Prep: Warm-up at 10:00 AM before the service. Whether you’re a seasoned singer or simply love making music, there’s a place for you.
